First of all, mechanical watches are divided into manual mechanical watches and automatic mechanical watches.
Manual mechanical watches, hand-winding movements, by turning the crown of the watch, the mainspring in the watch movement is fully wound, and after the spring is completely exhausted, the gears are driven to rotate and the hands are driven to move.
Automatic mechanical watches, the power of the automatic winding movement is generated by the weight of the rotor in the movement. When the arm wearing the watch swings, it will drive the rotor to rotate, and at the same time drive the mainspring in the watch to wind the watch and drive it to move.
Quartz watches can also be called "crystal vibration electronic watches" because they use the "vibration phenomenon" of crystal sheets.
When the crystal receives an external applied voltage, it will deform and expand. On the contrary, if the crystal is compressed, electricity will be generated at both ends of the crystal to drive the watch to move.
All mechanical watches will have errors, and quartz watches basically have zero errors. If the error is unacceptable, it is recommended to buy a quartz watch.
